Once upon a time," he said out loud to the darkness. He said these words because they were the best, the most powerful words that he knew and just the saying of them comforted him.”

Library Newsletter
Summer 2018

The annual magazine donation is starting! If any family would like to donate a magazine subscription to our library visit the Hall of Fame page located at the top of this page. I have a lot of subscriptions expiring this year so I could use your help keeping this valuable resource coming! Over the years many families have donated through one of the many high school magazine fundraisers that take place in the beginning of the year so it's a perfect time to remember our library.

This summer remember to visit your local public library for many of the books on your summer reading lists. Books can become expensive and the library is a great alternative to purchasing books at the book store.

Another suggestion is to share books with your friends. You buy one book on your list, they buy another and then you switch when you’re both done reading. Simple! So many ways to cut the costs of buying books.

Check back in August for the library’s annual magazine subscription fundraiser!

Find a shade tree, grab a book,
